LOL, really? I have seen a few people say that they didn't feel that FF7 deserves as much acclaim as it has gotten, but I have never seen anyone say that it sucked outright. I have seen people say that about Halo 3 and WoW.

On Topic: I'm not sure, but I think most of the people here like Adventure/RPGs here, and tend to dsilike FPSs, maybe that's why.

WoW is great, I love MMORPG's.
Not a fan of FPS on a gamepad, I like precision aiming too much.

Almost every FF thread turns into a battle between FF6 lovers and FF7 lovers.. it's the circle of life here on VGChartz...

I think the reality of the situation is that you can't be a WOW gamer AND a frequent console gamer without having a seriously #(*$ed-up life. This is mostly a console site... and as said before, there are a lot of people who have already clawed the WOW monkey off their back and don't want to look backwards again for a while.

On VGChartz? No, my son: That is the essence of the Lifeforce itself.
Microsoft fans have never been a large group here, PC fans even less so.
Early on it was mostly Nintendo, then last year the Sony fanbase grew to dominate, but since which it has levelled out somewhat.... but XB fans have always been a minority.
I don't like Halo 3 but I don't like any FPS. If I wanted to see people getting shot all the time I would just turn on the news.
WoW has scared me from the MMORPG genre as a whole. I barely have time for gaming as is I don't want my game to be a second job.
Could also be that I'm not a terribly big online gamer. When I do play most people are just assholes shouting "Fag", "Jew" or something else obscene. I'd rather play by myself or with friends and do something enjoyable and vaguely less repetitive.
The reason why Halo 3 is less popular here is because a lot of the people here simply didn't buy into the hype as much - the demographics of this site aren't the same as the mainstream gamer. Generally anybody who is willing to go on a forum dedicated to videogames knows quite a lot about them and realises that Halo 3 isn't actually the greatest FPS ever.
As for WoW, well everyone who plays that is far too addicted to go to a videogame forum.
