I don't like Halo 3 but I don't like any FPS. If I wanted to see people getting shot all the time I would just turn on the news.
WoW has scared me from the MMORPG genre as a whole. I barely have time for gaming as is I don't want my game to be a second job.
Could also be that I'm not a terribly big online gamer. When I do play most people are just assholes shouting "Fag", "Jew" or something else obscene. I'd rather play by myself or with friends and do something enjoyable and vaguely less repetitive.
