Forums - Gaming - The Next Metal Gear Will Not Be As Epic (If Multiplatform)

how is the OP biased? his/her points are perfectly valid, MGS4 or MGS5 would have great difficulty fitting onto a Dual-Layer DVD

I'm pretty sure MGS5 can fit on a dual-layer DVD right now since it's probably nothing more than a script and maybe some light computing work at best and at worst it doesn't exist in the slightest.

I still don't see the next metal gear game being multiplatform but if that's the case, the more the merrier.

well probably by the time the next MGS is completed there will be a new xbox (720) on the market, so we will see if it will be on xbox or not...nway kojima is a twat, always talking rubish!

the article is meh
people saying can't be better than the last one because it's exclusive are meh

MGS4 would have been better on a DVD9. I loved everything except that which the extra space on the Blu Ray disc allowed Kojima to do, so essentially its loving the game and hating the cutscenes.

Tease.

hahaha.xbox users always say they dont care about mgs and then some news about kojima comes up and all of a sudden xbox users are wetting there pants "ah hes gonna announce mgs on xbox, can't wait" lol hahaha.

Some Xbox owners actually do love Metal Gear Solid and would just like to have it on their system, you know?

Yeah, alot of 360 owners have always proclaimed love for MGS4. As for me, I couldn't care less about Metal Gear Solid games and honestly think MGS is best left a PS franchise, but thats just me. I WOULD love to see MGO Online without Konami ID though.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

How do you keep getting finding these random blogs?? (you and darth)

 lol true.

What many poeple don`t seem to understand with Metal Gear is that you buy "THE HIDEO KOJIMA PACKAGE". Either you love great gameplay and cutscenes directed better than most hollywood movies and buy the game, or you don`t and leave the game to those who loves it.

"I love the game, but I hate watching those long cutscenes. I just don`t understand anything of it. I just want to shoot some and shout: GET SOME."

If you`ve thought those words or similar; DON`T BUY OR PLAY THE GAME. Buy gears of whatever.

Sorry, this was a little off topic, but I couldn`t hold back since there are so many "I hate the Metal Gear cutscenes" whiners here.

lol, support fans need more arguments to avoid this game for x360.these do you say are very pathetic...

The other Metal Gears dating back to MGS1 and 2 did not use this abundance of cutscene to tell the story.  This is the first MGS game to have had such a large amount of story told just by cutscenes totalling 9 hours long.

So apparently the Kojima package keeps changing which is why some people did not like MGS4 cutscenes but still love the MGS series.
