For FFII, yeah, there is a "real" story, but it's really really basic.

Oh come on, man. It wasn't exactly fleshed out, but you had the civil war in the Elf Kingdom, the slow rot of the Earth, the long-running quest to find Matoya's crystal, the Time Loop... this was pretty major stuff back in the day.

2nd and 3rd: it just sums up what you do, get, kill during the adventure, not story.

@khuutra: you know what I mean lol. I know it was a little more developped, but nothing near FFIII to VI or DQIV, V, VI.

I would play them and I sure do hope they release some remakes on the PS3 and 360. I've been wanting to play a good RPG lately but can't find good ones this gen.
