You do know GDC isn't about game announcements right?

But games ARE announced at GDC, and seen as Microsoft have barely anything coming anyway you would have thought they would have announced something.

Either Microsoft are going to have the biggest E3 ever. or 360 will have a weak exclusive lineup in 2009

On topic - I'm not expecting a mountain of games to be announced, I didn't say that. but Sony have had game announcements, as have Nintendo, as have Microsoft in recent years, so making out games arnt announced at GDC is ridiculous.

 

The fact Microsoft has been tight lipped enough, would lead many to think they would announce something at GDC, but alas nothing.

Microsoft said they'd break the bank at E3 '09, and I fully expect a megaton or two and a handful of other great announcements.

What spam?  I'm repeating (4 times even) that GDC is not E3, meaning, it's not a media event. 

Nobody has to announce any huge games because GDC isn't the place. They can if they want to, but not announcing the next huge hyped thing is far from dropping the ball.

GDC is for indistry people to talk industry things, not announce the next big thing or show off the newest trailer so people can oogle about it until E3.

microsoft will have to announce before e3........any announcemMents at e3 will be later and fall games.......so surely they will reveal before then------but they will deffo shove huge cash for 09 exclusives or at least one of them im betting on mgs5 on 360 only

God this is getting annoying. We are in a packed Q1 for exclusives. We've got more coming in Q2. We have two games announced for the fall. Give MS time to employ their new strategy. So what if they don't announce something big at GDC? Sony just announced a few PSN games and only Nintendo had a singular large announcement with the new Zelda DS. Microsoft has never dropped the ball for a fall lineup since the beginning of the 360's lifespan. They will not start now. I'm still confused why people are complaining when new 360 games are coming out every week and exclusives are spread around every two to three weeks or so.
