they might announce something tomorrow, but i feel they will shop for exclusives this year as obviously they cant compete sony sony in house titles.

e3 they should announce some games, halo odst and one of alan wake or splinter cell will make it this year aswell as forza 3 will surely make it.

I still think we'll see Forza 3 within the next two months. Something from Rare as well, though they might save that for E3.

All this talk of no news has reminded me of a game I've heard nothing about in quite some time: Cry On. Has it been canceled or something? Brushed aside for a Blue Dragon 2 or Lost Odyssey 2? I'd very much rather a new IP than a sequel to either of those two.

It was canceled.  It was being published by AQ Interactive, and when AQ hit some financial hurdles, they canceled a bunch of projects.

Well, they did say that they were going to go for E3, did they not?

And did Sony actually announce anything worthwhile (for gamers)? Or do they also still have to go?

No Gears and it was a big 360 exclusive it doesnt matter who it was coming from.
