Well according to GoNintendo

Level 5 has confirmed that they are going to localize the entire Professor Layton series. They are working on localizing the second game right now!

So what about the relation between Nintendo and Level 5?

Is this game so good? I was hesitating today between this one and new super mario bros, and I finally picked the second one ...

It's very good, but I think NSMB is a little better, so you made the right choice. Try to pick it up in the future though.

I hope the games will also come to Europe. Also, this reminds me that I've lended away the first game and still haven't gotten it back since four months.

It's selling tonnes in Europe. It's guaranteed to come here.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Sweet!! glad to hear it, more good games for more gamers is always a good thing.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

You mean they at some point they weren't planning to localise them?

Let's hope this crazy & radical scheme of theirs to turn a profit works.
