Given my personality that is actually a tacit aproval of everything else. So far nintendo has done good stuff this year, has a good enough lineup, and for the first time since I finished playing super paper mario I plan to buy a wii game or two.

Well, if we are gonna go as far as grading speeches...
I expected NOTHING from this speech with the execption of introducing the DSi, and hearing about the storage issue...

I thought we would just HEAR about it.

The fact is, they added the components to their service
as the speech was taking place.
(The SD and the Wii ARCADE VC)

That was very cool. No Waiting.

They gave some Square treats, and
they topped it off by introducing Zelda DS 2

I want to say Phantom Hourglass was revealed during his speech at the 2006 GDC. I think this was a nod to that, which hopefully will leave some big announcements in summer at E3.

All in all, they gave a lot more then I expected.
