It's worth noting that Wii, unlike PS3 had a big new release this week - Powerful Pro Baseball NEXT - but it only managed selling 19,000 on its debut (15,000 first day). Which is quite strange since it got much better reviews than the PS2 version (44,000 sold).
That's the worst debut for new Powerful Pro game ever.
Super robot wars must be a system seller. Good to see DS numbers shoot back up. Though it is fairly odd.
Xbox360 took a big hit. Guess Star Ocean, Resident Evil, and Street fighter are no longer pushing consoles.
Looks like PS3 is dropping right along with its big software as well.
PS2 is doing really well in Japan.

With no new releases, the PS3 is still above Wii.
Holding better than I thought it would. RE5 had an ok drop compared to the previous drop.
I wonder if Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G could reach 4 million? Depends on the timing of Monster Hunter Portable 3 announcement, I guess.

lol! You said yourself in the preview that the PSP was gonna be higher than the 30k-40k because the two new additional colors launched. I co-signed you and said the same thing for the DS. It's not "strange", you knew it was gonna be higher!

The PS3 still has 2 games that are selling well in the top 10 which accounts for it'sales. The Wii has no games in the top 10 and is still managing to sale 20 K. Last week it dropped below 20 k but it usually has always sold around 20 k per week with out a major release. That's shocking.

I don't see why it couldn't.
It's having better legs (not necessarily longer as it hasn't been out too long) than anything this generation.
3 more weeks until FF7AC Blu ray!
