Friends Forever nyu~

I havn't touched Flash in years, does anyone recommend I get back into it even if just for fun?
Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.
Back in the day when I learned flash I used Mx2004, but I guess things have moved on bit. One of my assignments for uni this year is to start a website that is capable of hosting an IPTV service and I am going t learn CS3 for that I reckon
^^ then learn CS4... the differences and new things in CS4 are BIG...

Do you know the differences between MX2004, CS, CS2, CS3, and CS4?
I'd like some quick short comparison if you know :)
MX2004: First with actionscript 2.0, support up till flash player 7 behaviors, extensibility layer (JSAPI), alias text support, timeline effects, web services integration, video import wizard, Media Playback components (which encapsulate a complete MP3 and/or FLV player in a component that may be placed in an SWF), Data components (DataSet, XMLConnector, WebServicesConnector, XUpdateResolver, etc) and data binding APIs, the Project Panel, v2 UI components, and Transition class libraries.
FLASH 8:Support up to Flash Player 8, Filters and blend modes, easing control for animation, enhanced stroke properties (caps and joins), object-based drawing mode, run-time bitmap caching, FlashType advanced anti-aliasing for text, On2 VP6 advanced video codec, support for alpha transparency in video, a stand-alone encoder and advanced video importer, cue point support in FLV files, an advanced video playback component, and an interactive mobile device emulator.
CS3 (there is no CS) Support up to flash player 9, full support for ActionScript 3.0, allows things to be converted into ActionScript (tweens etc in AS3.0), adds better integration with other Adobe products such as Adobe Photoshop, and also provides better Vector drawing behavior, becoming more like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Fireworks.
CS4: Support up to flash player 10, inverse kinematics (bones), basic 3D object manipulation, object-based animation, an enhanced text engine, and further expansions to ActionScript 3.0.
object-based animation is really something different then from the old flash versions.... i don't like it.. and CS4 has things from After Effects ..
Personally I like CS3 the best cause it is not to different from the older version.. great intergration with Photoshop & illustrator... and you can choose which actionscript you want to work in: AS1.0 & AS2.0 or AS 3.0 ......CS4 is really something different and almost forces you to work in AS3.0. BUT If you do animations the inverse kinematics is really something good.... You can do more in CS4 but it's hard if you are used to the old stuff... mainly because of AS3
To bad I'm also a teacher so I'm forced to learn all the new stuff...

I would, but my uni will only license CS3.
