yes. sept. 22nd 2008... 'the scenerio is pretty much complete and the artistic side is about 80%' kitase wonder if they are talking about vs now....

Game was announced E3 2005. Almost 4 years from now. If it's 65% done that means it needs 2.5 years or so to finish at the rate they're going. FF XIII releasing late 2011 confirmed!

Well it took 3.5 years for RE5 to get to 60% complete. They finished up that 40% in less than one year.

The start up to get projects going is a lot more strenious.

Yes but honestly I don't like to see FF getting the same treatment as Resident Evil 5

Why the hell not? Both are ginormous franchises for both companies.

They aren't the largest for each but huge money makers. (Square - DQ and Capcom - MH PSP)

well if you consider that the last 20% (at least) is porobably X360 conversion, localisation, testing, polishing and gold mastering, the game is probably closer to completion than is seems imo

Did you remember all the great things about Resident Evil? Well this game has none of them. It's another generic third person shooter with zero atmosphere, tension or charisma. The main character has been reduced to a steroid pumped monster without personality, all the game is filled with references to geopolitics, poverty and economy, those things are scary enough in real life to deal with them in a videogame. Plus they drop one of the best chances to get one of the most dramatic events on the Resident Evil saga and turned one of the most beloved characters into a dumb blonde.

The game is good from a technical point of view, good graphics, control, online, voice acting, the music is "so-so" But this game IS NOT Resident Evil 5.

3 FF on NES. 3 FF on SNES. 3 FF on PS. FFX and FFXII, maybe FFX-2. So 2-3 FFs on PS2. On the current gen? So far, looking like 1.
