The PS3 does have games. I'm not knocking the console for the games but just the fact it is poorly market wrong. There is no specific market its trying to target i.e. teens, adults, kids. I just don't see it. The majority of the titles are adult oriented and not something kids will look after considering the 360 and Wii has all those titles and plus a cheaper price tag.

Sony didn't even advertise SingStar real well here in America. I would think that would of been a huge success in America and titles like LittleBigPlanet.

As a owner of a PS3, I only have 4 games. Not that many considering I work and have a busy life. But that doesn't make sense when I have more 360 games than PS3. It's like Microsoft whored the 360 status out there more so than Sony did for the PS3.

Word of advise Sony, please advertise your console and show meaning, because your lastest ads are confusing, even the first launch ones were confusing. I only bought the PS3 for FFXIII, God of War 3 and FF versus XIII and GT5.

Not at all... Not by a long shot, developers agree the PS3 always was well easier to code for than it was for the PS2. There are some significant differences with DirectX Windows PC systems though, but that's mainly something for middleware providers to worry about and has already been taken care of for the most part.

Of course, to get the most out of a PS3 will take more effort than was the case for the 360, like an Amiga is far more complex than a c64 to take full advantage of (drawing games in 4096 colors instead of 16, stereo sound vs mono sound, taking into account multitasking vs singletasking, etc).

Micro companies have been able to get the hang of it, likewise is now everyone else. There's just a lot of headroom to take further advantage of the Cell's SPEs (and Blu-Ray).

OK, the PS3 is selling faster than the PS1 did taking equal timeframes, but it may show a similar overall sales trend...

PS3 is the Game Cube of this generation it will finished third place. I believe GameCube was the most technologically powerful system of last generation more powerful than Dreamcast and PS2. PS3 is the most technologically powerful system of this generation.

For the PS3 to be the next DreamCast, Sony would have to never make another console or handheld system and end up like Sega and develop games only. Dreamcast problem was that its game were so easy to pirate.

It is highly unlikely Sony will leave the video game console market for the foreseeable future.
