PS3 is the new Gamecube of this generation

The PS3 already outsold that cheap kid dominated console, next stop => the PS3 is the PS1 of this generation (a console which had to endure much abuse from Sega and Nintendo fans) ?

OK, the PS3 is selling faster than the PS1 did taking equal timeframes, but it may show a similar overall sales trend...
