@Vlad, please not this boring console vs. PC discussion again. Let's just be happy that we have some activity on the PC forum with dgrzalja's thread. Hey, at least your VGC threads about upcoming PC games convinced me to return to PC gaming after 8 years of interruption. I bought a laptop this week, first game purchases: Ceville, Jack Keane and The Settlers II 10th Anniversary. I was tired of waiting for adventures to be be ported to Wii or Mac.

@dgrzalja: Civ 2 has been recommended twice now, and there's a reason in my opinion: It's one of the best PC games ever created.

I tryed Civillization but it didn't quite settle down...

I already played FF7, Starcraft, Warcraft I & II, Tomb Raider series, Red Alert,
Tiberium Sun, Doom, Quake, all the other major FPS...

I don't know if you've ever played a point&click adventure. If you are interested, I recommend The Day of the Tentacle, it's still one of the best adventures and everyone I know who played it loved it (even people who are usually not into p&c adventures). I would recommend Monkey Island 3 for "starters" even more, as MI3's graphics have aged better than DoTT's, but I think Monkey Island 1-3 (the best and most entertaining game trilogy ever created imo) should be played in a row.

I didn't play KOTOR but my specs are a bit low for that, particulary GFX department...

Played Warcraft III. Point and click adventure's!? Hm... Last was Syberia, Journey to the center of earth and That woman detective, nr 2 is released just recently, can't remember the name of that game..
