Okay, Civ is not your game. Fair enough.
Warcraft 3 then? (I still have to play it as well, will be one of my next purchases).
I don't know if you've ever played a point&click adventure. If you are interested, I recommend The Day of the Tentacle, it's still one of the best adventures and everyone I know who played it loved it (even people who are usually not into p&c adventures). I would recommend Monkey Island 3 for "starters" even more, as MI3's graphics have aged better than DoTT's, but I think Monkey Island 1-3 (the best and most entertaining game trilogy ever created imo) should be played in a row.
