Hmmm, this could cause me to cancel importing the Japanese version in April if true. Then again, if the movie & demo have English subtitles... why wait?

“At present the Final Fantasy XIII demo will only be available in Japan with the Blu-ray release of Advent Children Complete, but we hope to have further news in the coming months,”

Maybe you are reading it wrong. It doesn't necessarily say the demo will only be available in Japan. It says it will only be available in Japan on that particular blu-ray That could mean it's just not available with anything else *in* Japan. It doesn't specify if it will or won't be available in anything outside of Japan.

If the demo shows up outside of Japan, I will chalk it up to quotes being lost in translation.

Didn't the FFXII demo hit NA way before the game did, despite localization being far from complete?

it hit NA or was it EU with DQ VIII........basically a year before the final version of the game!

I think they could bundle The Last Remnant with the FF13 on PS3.

 Actually that would be a pretty good idea, meaning Last remnant could sell quite good also.

Final Fantasy XII was released in North America in October 2006, a demo came with DQVIII which was released November 2005.
