Everything this generation puts the other generations to shame pretty much. I will say this though: there is no ps2-esque machine out there.

The ps2, for all intents and purposes, destroyed the competition. This generation however, there is no run away #1.

Oh yeah i agree this gen shuts the past gen down but i'm just a ps3 fan all the way not much of a wii or 360

It is the worst gen imo. I like the feeling of being engulfed in these fantasy worlds created by my favorite games. I haven't really felt anything like that since last gen.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

it's something we can only tell once this generation ends, it's too bad that the PS3 didn't catch the PS2 momenten like the PS2 with PS1, I really thought it would have sold better than this, the starting price was probably too high for a lot of people and that momenten was lost along the way, it is the best value for the price but if people have no money, it becomes a little unrealistic apparently when we look at the sales.
