At the end of the day, though the OP has some minor flaws, it is largely correct.  Zenfolder simply pointed out that the PS3 has not been the resounding success by any measure that a very substantial number of PS3 fanboys and overexcited fans on VGChartz believe it to be.  He specifically went out of his way to stress that it had NOT been a failure.

And sure enough, people started belittling his argument with petty spin and personally targeted flaming.

There was nothing unreasonable about the OP.

funny i dont remember saying anything like that. anyway typical starcraft reaction. get proven wrong about one thing change subject. anyway most of my post are strictly talking about the ps3 of course thats because its the only system i have. and i enjoy it. ive tried getting my mom to buy a wii for my sister. i dont want the console but i wouldnt mind having access to it for some games. i barely compare 360 to ps3 because i dont need an epeen im here to talk about the ps3 and its games because again... only console i own

that's not enough reason to call people "not respected"

In fairness to Max, he is unreasonable, I'm sure there are a number of likeminded posters that respect him for it though.  And as a free-speech advocate, I respect his right to be unreasonable.

So I withdraw my highlighting of the reasonable phrase.

funny starcraft skips my post when i named euphoria and khuutra as part of this group and nowhere imply i am one. even though i think my points are valid i knew someone would just try to discredit me because i favor the ps3

Proven wrong?  Over what?

I haven't engaged with this thread in over 50 posts.  I am simply dealing with a few isolated posts at the tail.

As for what you have written here, if it were at all true it would make you very reasonable.  And yet you spend an awful lot of time promoting the PS3 above and beyond what it is, contributing to the culture to which the OP refers.

To me, all three consoles have their strengths and weaknesses.  Whilst my personal opinion is that I prefer the Xbox 360, I tend to view their strengths and weaknesses in line with more commonly accepted ideas.  The Wii is expanding the market, dominating sales, and producing some new innovative titles.  The Xbox 360 is the pre-emminent HD console and currently has the strongest accumulated library of the three consoles, albeit with a casual weakness.  The PS3 is the best media playback device of the three by far, and has a high build quality.

starcraft what posts of mine are unreasonable? the trophy league posts about warhawk? any of these in this thread? any of the million that i fight against you and people like you putting words in peoples mouth? kz2 met expectations and showed facts with zexen to prove it?

seriously starcraft you completely ignore anyone pro ps3 and assume they are the same as crazzyman you saying im in this group is what im always arguing about. all it is is you guys trying to discredit people by putting words in their mouth just to belittle them
