Damn Netscape has fallen over the years to. I use to use that over IE back in the Warcraft 2 days.

 

Safari and Chrome both use Apple's WebKit as their basis, though they use different javascript renderers. The G1 and N95 use some form of WebKit as well.

I've been using chrome since December, haven't looked back.. The issue of course is that I can't watch embeded movies etc due to having no plug ins made for it..

i had firefox, opera, and after that, i didnt see a diference betwen those and IE (i am using ie right now), its the same. i think more poeple (like me) just dont care about stuff like browsers.

And my favorite is opera :P

Google Chrome sucks....what'd you expect? And on that note, only reason IE has that much is because it's the standard on PC. And, well....with billions of PC users out there, it was bound to happen. The fact that Firefox, despite the above fact, has 22% marketshare is what's really impressive

Are you kidding? Chrome is great...

It's sooo fast, way faster than Firefox and IE. It also feels more polished and professional at stage that it is, not to mention later on..

And Firefox is out for how long? A long time.....

Over time Chrome's percentage will increase, especially if Google's secret cloud OS starts an OS storm... Goooooooooogle...

Chrome and Firefox are very different beasts.  Firefox is super-feature heavy - a lot of techies who want unusal browser features seem to prefer it.  Chrome is extremely simple - I love this, but I can see how others find it limiting.  IE is somewhere in between.

Personally, Chrome is my preferred browser whenever possible.  Certain sites don't work (usually because the site developer explicitly blocked all but IE/FF) - and for those I use IE.  Not really interested in FireFox personally - and Safari - my god, while I've heard Safari 4 is improving the situation, I absolutely can't stand Safari 3 on Windows - it is just plain terrible IMO.

Somehow, Safari on my iPhone is just fine and dandy - I don't actually understand how the same company makes something as fantastic as the iPhone, and something as bad as (windows) Safari at the same time.
