I'm planning on getting one for myself, as my brother is becoming increasingly stingy with his (he doesn't allow anyone to play it at all, and I only get to use it when he's not home).

The problem is, the only games I'm very interested in as of right now are Ace Combat 6 and Mass Effect. My brother already has Halo 3, Gears 1 & 2, and Fable 2, though I'm not really amped for those games; just means they aren't choices for me to buy since he already has em and I've played them sparingly myself.

So what's coming in 2009? I'm a bit confused coz there doesn't seem to be any high profile title announced for 2009 thus far, aside from ODST, which isn't even really a full game (don't say Alan Wake, because there's far too little known about it). So what does Microsoft have in store for 2009 that I could potentially buy?

Definately get Mass Effect. The best exclusive game on 360 imo.

Splinter Cell and Alan Wake so far.

Neither confirmed to release this year, although SC does fall in the 09 window I think its due for release in Q110

I've reviewed the entire 360 lineup thus far, and only those 2 games i mentioned interest me.. so i'm looking for the future, if there's any worth in the console down the line.

i'm interested in erm... anything that has a good story really. no really specific genre aside from flight sim/air combat (which is why i'm interested in ace combat 6)

Well there arent many so far, which I have no problem with because A-Level's are a bugger. But it seems like Splinter Cell Conviction will finally land this year, which I think will be a fantastic hit. There will be another GTA IV dlc, which going by the previous one are pretty awesome. Ninja Blade demo was also pretty good. Forza 3 should be launching this year. Huxley might get a release this year. Lost Planet 2 might get a release this year as well. Ninety-Nine Nights 2 could be a big improvement over the first game. There will probably be a big announcement for a Rare project which could also decent. Still not a great year though tbh, Splinter Cell is the only game that interests me greatly as far as exclusives go

I bought an Xbox last year, now have just over 10 games, but I am only getting about 2 games on it this year and SO 4 is the only exclusive that I am buying (I might pick up Halo Wars though)

I kind of hope there will be something at E3 and I am certain that we will get something at GDC, but of course, that means I will go bankrupt
