I think next generation, Microsoft will pick up the win. Xbox Live will be more than huge by then and it would be the main reason for their victory. However, Sony could have a huge comeback generation.

The choice is obvious.............

They dropped out of the hardware market to make games for multiple consoles so they could rake money in like theres no tomorrow.

Then........... BANG.......... out of the blue they will unleash a new console with their new found wealth that will blow the competition away.....

it'll be an even crappier console than the wii tech wise, but will market it like a mother fucker with their popular culture adds, and then the ipod and mac people will flock in, and call it the best thing eva.

It's a sad possibility, but it's happening right now with their current products which are inferior to their competition, but if apple know one thing, then that thing is marketing, so kudos to them.

I'm actually kind of surprised by how many people are predicting things besides Nintendo. I mean, it's not a foregone conclusion, but you would think there would bee more people figuring the Wii's successor would carry on in its place.
