Forums - Sales - Microsoft: FFXIII will sell more on 360

the only region they may take it's the US.

japan europe and ww are sony.

nightsurge - because it was the lowest selling 360 title i was curious to see how many it sold to get a rough idea of so4

he's responding to NPD data.....so he's talking bout NA

so he's right

if he isn't talking bout NA.....he should go to a doctor right now!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

if that ever happens WW i see millions of sony fanboys crying like babies...

@Nightsurge

though his 10:1 ratio was slightly wrong. Uncharted sold 95k in the US proper 1st week

Taking those figures, 95K sales (VGChartz) for Uncharted vs 359K (NPD) for Killzone 2.

8 or 9 days of sales for the whole of North America vs 2 days of just US sales.

In any case it underlines the premature (childish) nature of Microsoft's public statement, especially considering how well Uncharted performed.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

PS3 vs 360 sales

Around the Network

Japan, Europe, and Worldwide= Sony wins by a landslide

North America= Gonna be really close, Microsoft might win, but not by much, especially after seeing SF4 sales.

If NPD's figures is anything to go by, Star Ocean 4, a game also by Square Enix, performed miserably on the 360, failing to hit the top 20 its first full week on the market.

Does no one understand the difference between developers and publishers anymore?  Star Ocean 4 is a game by Tri Ace, SE only published it.  Also it was developed using the same engine they used for Infinite Undiscovery which was a game partially funded by Microsoft.

yes it is true about the SO4 disc swapping multiple times throughout the game. It is one of the reason's it got such poor review scores.

Ehm, it has got very good review scores.

no, it did not get very good review scores.  Gi gave it a 7, GS a 7.5, IGN an 8, it's metacritic score is 79.  This isn't exactly a bad score, but for such a popular and established franchise these are poor review scores.  SE has not been able to really make it this gen, I don't know whats up with them.

What are you talking about? No Star Ocean game has metascore higher than 80, how come 79 is poor for the series?
