Ps2 was is and probably will be the greatest system ever for a long as time.

Though PS3 could surpass it, maybe.

For my expectations (that are mainly those things MS feared) PS3 has too many shortcomings to be a viable substitute to a Wintel PC besides a console. I wish it enough success to prevent MS from becoming a danger to market plurality, but I won't buy it, I hope PS4 will have what PS3 misses. Of this gen I think I'll buy a Wii, but only when it will be priced under 130€.

to me games make the best system, and seein as how 95 percent of this gens good ones are on wii or 360, no the ps3 is NOT the best console to date

id give that title to zboz 1, snes, or dreamcast maybe



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Zboz1?  I've never heard of that and I own a Balley Astrocade.
