Considering Halo 3 is actually a game and not an old peoples exercise machine id stay with saying Halo > Wii Fit

 So essentially

Kids > Adults

?

Edit: God damn! I'm being americanized!

Children > Grown-ups?

 No...

Gamers > Middle aged people worrying about their figure.

Is this trolling? The technicalities escape me sometimes.

Nope... its me being pissed that my mum wants to buy a Wii just for this "home gym" as she puts it, and then having a rant on here about it.

Lots of people, including those you would consider "gamers", own Wii Fit.

Self-improvement isn't just for the middle-aged.

At least the middle aged people actually tend to worry about their figure as opposed to...this

@ Khuutra.

Ill try put it into a different perspective, my mum + her friends were talking the other day about each buying a Wii, just for Wii fit as it would "save money on gym fees".
Another way to back my theory would be the guy in my local game shop ONLY sells Wii fit to the more older buyers. Middle aged people, so to say... although i have no evidence of this and cant really back what im saying.

Either way... imo Wii Fit aint a game, more of a novelty.

What's all this nonsense about middle-aged people? I know plenty of people under 30 who own Wii Fit. You don't have to be old to want to be in shape. Actually, it's much better to be in shape now rather than waiting until later...avoid those health problems before they start.

Gotta say though, I don't really think Wii Fit is the thing to use if you want to a vigorous workout...it's more analogous to a light jog. It's still fun, though. And if you can buy if for a console, it's a game.

I guess that means you do pushups with side planks, jackknives, lunges, the hula hoop, yoga etc. regularly.

Crossed out what I don't do..

I like to jog to the park near my house and enjoy the scenery when I work out at the parks outside rec center, this includes fresh air, sun, woman working out next to me, etc.

And it's free..

Maybe I should list all the exercises and see which of those you do.

Not everyone has a nice park near their house.  The one near me is full of dealers and crackheads.  Should I jog there?  I could jog indoors for free but where's the motivation?  Not everyone has the same resources around them...maybe you ought to consider this before generalizing.

Btw, there's plenty of free games that let you shoot things.  Why pay for a shooter then?

People playing Halo 3, how sad.

Go outside and play paintball, get some sun, fresh air, use those leg muscles to run rather than press a button, and work on some real aiming.

PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

@sega

Wow you must really be in shape. I run cross country and exercise daily, yet my wii fit still works up a sweet. Seriously planking challenge, 30 minute run, and a bit of yoga is a great workout to me.

Relating to the topic though wii fit isn't a game. It is a console that is currently in last place. Let the "When will wii fit pass PS3" threads begin. Then one day we will have "Wii fit needs a price cut and bundle."

Congrats Wii fit. It certainly is a beast and it has gotten a ton of new people into gaming.
