Forums - Website Topics - Temporary solution for virus issue - IE

Yeah, again, I have FF with nothing added on...no problems here except a popup ad every day or so...nothing bad. Although I am on Vista currently...so maybe that's why.

And yes...I'm going back to XP soon...Vista's annoying me, as pretty as it is.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

better solution is to get a mac =P

Or use FF?

I've actually gotten the warning once (and only once) using FF2.

Thanks for that TalonMan.

I haven't done that yet, but at the moment I'm not getting any alerts. Is that a bad sign or is the site clean again? I've been getting them all afternoon and most of the time the previous days.

I don't believe I'm reading it... since 2003 I don't have problems with browsers: http://www.mozilla.org/

since last year I don't have problem with virus either (got Ubuntu), but I know that it is not an option for everybody (I don't play in PC), but at least use Firefox... Except for some minors bugs, the only way to get a malware with firefox is trough javascript or downloading and installing it, so just using "noscript", one antivirus and keeping windows updated I think it is almost impossible to get malwares...
