At the very least, switch to cheaper drinks for a week or two.

So you're concerned that this publication might be biased against third party games on Nintendo platforms?

Because IGN, 1up, Game Informer and GamePro all gave MadWorld a higher score than NGamer...

1up, IGN, Gamepro review games for all consoles, unlike Ngamer. I wouldn't be surprised if Madworld was an anomally. Ngamer tends to give wii and ds games higher scores.

 

It also gave Dead Rising a 5 (1.4 lower than Meta), Sonic and the Black Knight a 5.6 (0.2 lower than Meta), Deadly Creatures a 6.8 (lower than Meta), House of the Dead Overkill an 8 (0.1 above Meta), WarioLand a 7.4 (lower than Meta), Brawl a 9.3 (same as Meta), Super Paper Mario an 8.8 (0.3 higher than Meta), Rock Band an 8 (Same as Meta), Okami a 9.1 (0.1 higher than Meta), Metroid Prime 3 a 9.2 (0.2 above Meta), Mario Strikers Charged 7.2 (0.9 lower than Meta) and there are more round about the same or lower. I have cherry-picked a little, but I think you can see that this is reasonably credible in relation to the average score.

I am a subscriber to this magazine and i would not be if i did not respect their scores and assessments. This is truly the only magazine that carries no bias. last month they awarded Mario Tennis a score of 77%. This was their summary for it: "With the basic controls its a jazzed up version of Wii Sports. With the full manual controls it's a mess. Take your pick."

they even have a section where they briefly discuss games on other consoles.

From the days of "super play" they have carried the same ethics of reviewing games through to this very day and review. If this magazine gives a game a good score you can be guaranteed it will be a good game. I have received this magazine from the early n64 days and agree with every review they have ever given bar 1.

I know its my first post, but this truely is a magazine worthy of recognition and so i thought i would repsond!

good score, i'm definitely picking this up along with pikmin 2 for Wii......and Madworld....and the conduit....and so many other games that i can't afford ;(.

great score, but only 8 for innovation? theres not many games like it...
