Half-Life 2 - I'm not sure why, but somehow after the first few stages I just didn't feel like playing it anymore

Oblivion - I got severely bored and even disgusted by it's "everywhere is the same" look and the (imo) lackluster gameplay and terrible story didn't help me get immersed in any way either.

GTA 4. Boring game with a boring storyline (Oscar worthy my ass). I liked GTA3 a lot and in almost every gameplay aspect, GTA4 seemed like it took a step back. Particularly with how rigid and scripted each mission was.

Half-life 2. I'm a little torn about this one because I still think it's a good game, but I definitely enjoyed HL1 better.

Assassin's Creed. So boring. Climbing random buildings is fun for about 10 minutes just to look at the great animations/graphics. After the first assassination, there really isn't that much more to do in the game except rinse and repeat mediocre gameplay.

Bioshock. Anyone who's played System Shock 1/2, or Deus Ex must have been disappointed. The game lacked any real choice. After having to choice between what augments I wanted in Deus Ex and what weapons I could carry around (because it had an actual inventory system), I was so disappointed that Bioshock was Doom 3 with plasmids and a mildly interesting story.

New Super Mario Bros.
Oblivion.

Tomb Raider games:

Never got used to the controls and camera and ended up giving up on the franchise, even though many of my friends love it.

FFX:

After FFVII/VIII/IX I was expecting a lot when it came to PS2..... but then..... *sighs*

MGS4 (stealth is boring to me)
Killzone 2 (I HATE it's gameplay, weighted controls are realistic, but I dont like them)
Gears of War 2 (I only play Campaign & Horde on it, the rest of the games are a lagfest)

hum.. actually I believe only 4 posts (including yours and mine) don't mention a game that qualifies, while most only name games that qualify (13/28) and many atleast 1 that qualifies (11/28) - well, that's from my perspective on things
