Nintendo should be able to stretch the NDS lifetime to about 8-10 years.

I don't know whoever said "Europeans hate Nintendo". Europe doesn't have the same history with Nintendo that Japan and the US do, and the GameCube did do quite poorly there, but since Nintendogs came out NIntendo has taken the contenent by storm. Heck the DS is selling more in Europe than in North America, something that I don't think has ever happened for any video game system.

Actually the Gamecube did batter in the EU than in Japan . Anyways , nice going for the DS . Now lets hope that the PSP will be receiving at least half that similar sales :)
