Forums - Sales - Public sickened by game stunt (Madworld Related)

Hahaha ,that pic is cool. XD

The Sun is the height of moral standards in the UK isnt it? What a joke lol.

But i did say this, the more publicity for this game the better. Its looking like its going to be on an even playing field with RE5 which is interesting.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I thought the severed body parts was a Resident Evil 5 publicity stunt?

That was another another stunt, MadWorld had its own.

People act like it's nintendo's job to fight against violent games.

Nintendo themselves is definitely the family friendly company, but that doesn't mean they have to police their system making sure no other violent games are released on it. It has an 18+ rating so kids shouldn't be able to buy it anyway. It's like saying DVD players are bad because you can watch porn on it.

Ah, too many body parts flying all over the place to keep them all straight I guess.

^everyones doing it. Body parts all over London

You notice how the headline says, "Public sickened by Game Stunt" while the article itself directly contradicts this with people saying no one was obviously offended?

The Sun is a joke, due to its simplicity and base appeal, but it will generate some great publicity for the game.

Sega couldn't get any better advertising then that

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

^They are going out on a limb this time...
