I just got it yesterday and rushed through the 1st level last night.  So far I am very impressed by the visuals.  I heard later levels are more stunning.  Is that right?

The game did not seem very hard (at least on first level) and I am wondering how long will it be on normal difficulty setting.  The controls seem fine too.

One nick-pick I have is the short pause during loading of the next sequence.  Maybe the pace of the game as well.  But I really love the explosions, and building crumbling down.  Like watching a summer blockbuster.

I never thought march could be so busy for me.  I still need to get RE 5 and probably Halo Wars.  And Ninja Blade in April.  This sucks :)

well dont listen to the estimate of 8-10 hours for an average player. I am not amazing at fps' yet I completed it in 5hr 45 mins and I didnt exactly speed through each level.

I guess ~6 or 7 hours for me then. I am not really great at FPS either.

But I am sure I will try to complete it in higher difficulty settings. Blood splattering from those Helgans is fun to watch :)

10 hours for me. Then again, I spent an age on one of the levels, having a larf.

5-6 hours seems to be the average, and my personal playthrough was 5 and half hours. I'm nothing if not statistically average and mundane.

Wow, I was much longer than most, 8 hours 20 minutes, but I spent alot of time looking for the intel and Helghast symbols, so that might be why

6 hours on normal for me, Although i did rush threw a few areas not killing them because i kinda got annoyed XD.

Btw off topic; I just won the game today because i always loved the MP too much to even give the SP a chance. And omg i was blown on the story... It was like a epic team plot and just wow it amazed me. MGS4 STILL IS THE BEST GAME OF MY LIFE ( Gotta be said ) but this was really amazing i did not expect it, It even topped CoD 4 for me.
