Get a bunch of people behind your bullshit idea (not insulting your political views, I am just flaming politics in general). It worked for Conservatives/Liberals/Green Party people and for religions as well (looking at you Scientology)

Most people who do community service aren't criminals you know. I used to do it when I was a teenager because I wanyed to. I've never commiyte crime I, like many other people, just wanted to pitch in.

Well, it's to help prevent small, extremist parties, who wouldn't really be able to get much exteranal funding, from running. If you got your deposit back, anyone could just take out a loan and pay it back, no matter what their views.

I don't see a problem with that. Why shouldn't everyone get their say?
Personally I like the US way of doing things better. You just need to get a number of signatures saying they'd like you to run.
Not people that would vote for you per say. Just people who are interested in what you have to say.

i do work, i do 2 days a week voulantry work
the point is that youre not giving people money for nothing (as the right wing media would have you believe) youre giving them money so theyre not out on the street scrounging for food or dead, youre also paying to help them find work, if you didnt pay them money, then you'd see ALOT (about 2m atm) more people scrounging for food on the streets, personally id rather thoose people had a basic standard of living
