I hate the Wii because it give lapsed gamers a hope. If they stopped playing for some reason they should never come back. Also I hate Nintendo for trying to destroy gaming turning it into a social phenomenon. WTF, I do not need friends if I can play online. Why should I play games with my girlfriend if DOA girls are hotter? Why would I play games with my parents? Their job is just to leave the food plate near the basement door.

 Actually, I am on a PC I built a few years ago.  No Lost Odyssey, Final Fantasy XIII, or practically any other jRPGs on PC.


Damn dude, some of the best RPG's of all time are on the PC only.

Baulder's Gate, Baulder's Gate: Shadow's of Amn+ Throne of Bhaal, Planscape Torment. Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. WoW, Everquest,

Also if you want to play FF games you can play any of them on emulators or actually purchasing them like FF7 8 & 9. If you do that you get to use the mouse keyboard interface which is sooooooooooo much better than analogs. 

Consoles only get the ports of stellar RPG's like Morrowind & Oblivion. Those games were made for keyboard/mouse and feel second rate on the consoles. While we are on that subject, many RPG's made for the consoles eventually make it to the PC like, KOTOR 1&2. 

Of course, graphics whores don't like those games because the gameplay is too refined and not enough CGI women in mini-skirts.

 umm.  I did specify Japanese RPGs, which don't come to the PC very much.  I have played FF7, FF8, and FF9 on the emulators.  

 

Western RPGs, which you are right, are superior on PC, have a different appeal.  I prefer the Japanese RPGs, not because of CGI women in short skirts, but for the storylines and character development.   

 

I'm not saying one is better, but I like the Japanese RPGs more myself.  Consoles have and probably will for a long time be the main platform for these.
