This for all those VgCharts people with profiles. I noticed at the top of your own profile page it rates you with this site. It has me as a newbie and I've seen regular and I think member. What I want to know is how is this determined. Is it by the amount of time someone has been here or is it by how many post they have posted? Edit: Ok I see that it's by post numbers now. Wii-gamer a member and of course Kwaad as a pro. I guess my next question is how many post do you have to have to get each rank?

As far as I know, it is by post count. Seeing as Kwaad is a "pro"...although I suppose that could be by site visits as well...since he's here so much...I'm a "member" apparently. Poor newbie. Gotta post more I guess lol. EDIT: Well seeing as you're a regular, it looks like it takes 100 posts to get to "regular", and either 200 or 250 for "member." I'm betting 500 makes you a "pro"

I don't think it's a good idea. This will make some people just post to post so they have big post number Maybe I just hate this idea because I'm not a big poster so it will take me sometime to get out of the "newbie" area Edit1: Looks like "rating" members has disapeared since I can't find it Edit2: Just found it...

It doesn't really matter...it says "Newbie" on you, but I think we know if you're a newbie or not. It's just a little thing on the side, that a lot of forums do. I think the IGN Boards use stars after a user's name...doesn't necessarily dictate their authority...although certainly someone with 300 posts tends to get respected a little more than someone with 3 posts, even if it shouldn't work that way.

hey i'm new (just look at my post number) how do you get that quote to repeat whenever I post like the one that says "Now loading....Please Wait"? Edit: I figured it out Edit2: my post number was 3 at the time.
