Nowadays computers gave us so many advantages that his almost impossible to find something negative about it. But one of my biggest complains is that things come and disappear very quickly, often too quickly and then they are forgotten. Jus t a couple of days ago I saw a thread/dedication to Crazzy man and I realized how many people didn't know him. So I thought that a Members Hall of Fame could be added, dedicated to those that made vgchartz unique (this would be a small application to add next to contributors). We could begin choosing 5 and then every 6 months or so we could add a new one. So who do you think are/were the soul of the community?
Of course this is simply a suggestion. I am curios to know what the bosses think about it. I have some pretty ideas (such as the most memorable thread, a small dedication, thoughts from the community...) and I would take care of it. I'd like to know if they like the idea, and I'd be thankful if they take into consideration this thing. I'm here waiting for an answer...
I think the first five should be:
ioi: I guess there's no need of an explanation here. Simply the boss, nothing would be possible without him, his name was so memorable that people are still wondering about its pronunciation (and I'm among them).
Crazzy man: the idea came to my mind while thinking about him. The most irrational and irritating fanboy out there, but many people miss him (yeah me too). His most memorable thread was probably the improbable comparison between PS3 and PS2.
John Lucas: if crazzy man was syoninm with Sony, john lucas was synonim with nintendo. Who forgot his thread "john lucas was wrong!!"? His wii sales prediction were so crazy (yes even for the monster wii) but so funny.
Starcraft: well, the synonim with microsoft of course...his hype for fable II was simply amazing and his faith in microsoft was unreachable.
The source: the biggest contributor to vgchartz's success next to ioi. It took a week just to read his whole huge worldwide sales of gaming thread, and that's simply one of the amazing things he did.
I know I left many people who at least deserve an honorable mention, but they can wait for the next selection (if there will be ever one). So who do you think are worthy of the Vgchartz Members Hall of Fame?
