It's amazing how poorly some of those systems did. At the same time, I can't beleive that some of those systems sold at all. Why did some people buy those systems? I remember when they were coming out and without even being any so called expert, I knew they would fail. Of the list, other than a couple of the Sega systems, I knew not one of them would make it with the exception of the 3DO. I thought it looked good and appeared to have some good games. I always remembered how their Street Fighter looked in print ads and articles. I thought it looked amazing at the time. Clearly better than it looked on any home console at that time. I don't think I knew it cost $700 though. If I did, I would've probably felt different about the system's chances.

So much fail for such a short post. Sony is the reason MS entered the video game console industry.

Virtual boy isn't quite handheld. I can walk and play my DS/PSP. I can't walk and play Virtual Boy.
