I not mad at all. But to say that MGS has a better storyline then Xenogears is crazyness. But thats just my opinion though.

I disagree

MGS4 ended for me a franchise which had the best story in gaming

it tied up loose ends & was so well done right till the final minutes

for me & many people MGs4 simply takes the cake!

it tied up loose ends & was so well done right till the final minutes

for me & many people MGs4 simply takes the cake!

 

Have you played Xenogears? Do understand the pure thought and complexity and emotion that was put into Xenogears?

If you really believe Xenogears is complex, then you should play more games because Xenogear's story is nowhere near the best ones. Play Planescape: Torment.

MGS4 isn't even close to being the best story on the PlayStation platforms.
Actually, it's not even the best in the Metal Gear Solid series (That would go to MGS or MGS3).

But meh, seems that's the popular opinion these days. If Kojima would hire a great writing staff and drop the pen himself, I think we'd see something leagues above his current achievements.
