It makes perfect sense again?!

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

At least Majesco will still be around.

Sony and MS aren't destroying gaming....they just aren't pushing it forward in any category but graphics.

key word POSSIBLY

You need about 1m to break even on the average HD game, so nearly every single worthy HD title made profit. Wii can get what remains.

If you play Russian Roulette, you could possibly die.  Key word being POSSIBLY.  In fact, you have a better chance of surviving than dying.  Why don't you play?

i like how hardcore gaming has "Hard" in its name, but is so fragile that almost anything can destroy it.

Wii/Mario Kart Wii Code:2793-0686-5434

new technologies that need less budgets and still give HD graphics may appear , so we are only talking about this generation which is about to be finished XD

I think you are forgetting a small thing, namely making a game for multiple platforms.

Hardcore games are most certainly still a sustainable business, and saying it will be depending on the "casuals" is quite a stretch for as long as we don't know what the PS4/X720 are going to be like.

Third parties are at fault as well. Using the Wii as a cash cow to fund games on HD systems is assinine. Business sense would tell me, use the cash cow of Wii to fund more games for the Wii.

Anyone remember the movie "weekend at bernies"? How two goof balls kept propping up a dead guy? That is the HD business model, its been broken since it started yet, goof balls keep trying to prop it up. And people would laugh at insects who continually fly to the light and get zapped/

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
