Why do people keep saying this? GTA IV was not trying to be realistic. Nothing about GTA IV represents the real world. Cops dont stop you for traffic violations. They forget about you in mere minutes of tracking you for murder. They release you with nothing more than a few hundred dollars bribe. You don't die, just wind up in the hospital. You can take upwards of 10-20 bullets. I could go on with these examples for a long time. Again, what is supposed to be so realistic?

I should have specified this, sorry.
By realistic i meant the driving controls and the physics mostly. GTA IV just doesn't feel as "crazy" as all other GTAs, it feels more... serious.

That I can get on board with. I don't mind that direction in GTA IV, but if you don't prefer it then you should definitely give Chinatown Wars a try. The driving mechanics, which are a rather big part of the game are especially arcade like, and there are no ragdoll physics for the bodies.
