Granado Espada has classes, but you control 3 characters at once. Thus, it's kind of the same? They give out three day trials, last time I checked.

Alright I'm probably going to try Shin Megami Tensei, FFXI, and Runes of Magic first, but keep recommending because I might like another recommendation better than any of these.
Champions online is to be released this spring/summer for PC and XBox 360. No classes in that game, just pick your powers as you level up and go.
Why must JRPG female leads suck so bad?
EVE Online doesn't have any classes. Seems like there should be more skill based MMOs out there but I am drawing a blank off the top of my head.

Dark fall is out, digital download only. They are quite happy for usa people to go on euro server and transfer when USA servers open.
- Runes of Magic suck, very generic and boring and also has classes.
- A free trial does not mean "buy the game for 1st 30 days free...." that is all mmos

Exactly, digital download only. Yet it has only 1 server which takes hours to evenm get to play. So in my eyes, the game isn't really out yet.
RoM does not suck, it's fun for what it is, and is really good for a Free2Play.
Free Trial has been changed, because back when I played FFXI, you had to buy the game and then you got 30 days for free.
There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

To be honest I actually like some things that it brings to MMORPGs. Firstly it doesn't have classes. I could use any weapons I want, any armor I want, and level up anything I want. Then I could do a whole different thing. I already mentioned this, but I will say it again because of how much I enjoy it. Secondly the leveling up system is much easier, and fun imo. If I want to use physical attacks better then I level them up. If I want to use magic better than I level that up. Then the magic system is unique, it uses the runes and needing a certain type. Another thing is that the quests while be less in quanity are much more in depth than most MMOs I've played. For example some of the starting quests in WoW make you collect a certain item from 10 wolves. How is that interesting? Yeah it is necessary to level up, but I'm playing a game and that is just as bad as grinding imo. Then in runescape you have some story lines to go along with the quest, and a quest consists of many different things to do in order to finish it. The only games that I've played with a similar quest format are single player WRPGs. Some popular examples of these are The Elder Scroll Series, Fallout series, and Fable series. There also tons of not so popular WRPGs that use this format. Now when an MMORPG brings these aspects I like in single player RPGs I enjoy it alot.
That being said there are some things that I dislike about the game that make me look for another option. The first and most important is the community. I absolutely hate it. It is filled with dozens of kids younger than me who have nothing better to do that call you a noob, or tell you how you suck because your level isn't as high as theirs. Then the exploration aspects. I love exploring in RPGs and runescapes world is just to small imo, even with a membership. The visuals don't help either, but I'm not one to care too much about visuals. The battle gameplay is also very lacking and pretty generic. The economic system sucks and you have to spend hours just to get a good amount of money, and there are a few other flaws I have with the game. So yes while some people may say Lmfao to it(mainly because of who most of the community is) I would say that it is a valid mmorpg.

I played Runescape for years, and these are two of the biggest problems with it. I've met a few awesome people on there, but for the most part, the community is pretty terrible.
My problems with fighting is basically, you click on an enemy and hope you hit him. That's it.
I also hate how time consuming it is to level up once you get up to higher levels. This kind of grinding is just not fun.
That being said, there is a lot of fun to be had. There's all kinds of mini games to do, and Clan Wars is tons of fun. I'm sick of the game, and I haven't played it in a long time, but I have friends who are still on there (don't ask why) and they've told me that it's gotten a lot better from when I last played.
So, if you're looking for a decent MMORPG, Runescape is definitely a good choice, just be warned that it is far from perfect.
