Well you do have a Kim Possible avatar, and you are from Australia. I'd be hesitent to take your advice on the game as well.

I really enjoyed playing through this game, but I am a huge Sonic fan. I thought that the comic book style cutscenes were brilliantly done in this game, and the same goes with the CGI cutscenes.

Gameplay is fun, and it can get really varried later on in the game. It gets really awesome halfway through! =D

IMO, I prefer the advance series over rush (except for advance 2, that was a terrible peice of crap).

But yeah, I would sorta recommend Sonic Rush (even though im not that fond of it, but everyone else is). Dunno about Rush Adventure, it felt like a very stale game with some awful boat system added to it.

EDIT: I forgot to quote Riot Of The Blood.

Advance i series was good for Chao stuff, but Rush had way better platforming.

I'd say Rush was better, but the best platformers on the GBA are the Megaman Zero games and The Megaman ZX games for the DS. Screw Sonic and buy those.

Oh hell yeah, Mega Man Zero was definitely one of the best GBA games, I lack Zero 2 though. :(

In speaking of Chao Garden. Advance 2's was the biggest slap in the face. It was an unlockable, which I assumed means it was likely updated. Especially that in order to unlock it you must get EVERY emerald as Sonic (not any one else), but of course in order to get to the special stages...it means 8 Special Rings hunting per stage (which wasn't fun). I got irritated with it and decided to download a save file (lol rom) and found out that the Chao Garden was NOT updated at all. It was the same exact one from Advance 1. I hated Advance 2 for that reason (the bland level designs didn't help either. Except for Music Plant, that was the only good zone in that game.)

im still on the fence if i should buy it, same goes for HotD:Overkill

so many choices :P

LOL@Rol,

You were already here... I sent that PM today, along with a few other members of the SSS who weren't already here and weren't online... Besides, not only do you throw my sarcasm-meter for a loop sometimes, but, as wftz has pointed out, you have a KIM POSSIBLE AVATAR. XP

@wfz: AUSTRIA! AUSTIA! NOTICE THE MISSING L! It's not where STEVE IRWIN was from, but WHERE HITLER WAS BORN!

@Smeags

Thanks for the detailed opinoin... I'll probably buy this soon then...My friend at school (Almost equal with me about being a sonic fan) is foaming at the mouth because I said I might not get it. (He has a Wii too, so he's going to get it).

Just a couple of questions involving Knuckles... Knuckles isn't hunting for emerald shards again, is he? That was kinda cool the first time, but got old in SA2... And he isn't extremely slow? (they made him a TANK in sonic-06) And can he glide? (He didn't in Heroes). I'm guessing the answer is yes... but I don't want to go searching online and spoil the game...

@Slash:

I know! The only thing I have left to do is to decide whether to buy MadWorld first, or this... I only have around $65 in spending money, and I'm also going to have to put off HotD:Overkill... Until I get my Mid-term bonus...

Oh, and a little off-topic, but I finished Mirror's Edge in less than a day, so I'm glad I rented it instead of buying it... It was WAY too short...

Nice cover up L.C.E.C., but we all know the truth. Rol cannot be trusted with such matters.

No Emerald hunting. No tanking (he's actually surprisingly fast... took me by surprise the first time I pressed forward with him ). And yes, he can glide... which is awesome as you fly over your foes without a care. It's great. Wfz and I were just talking about how awesome he is in the game.

No offense but the choice should be pretty clear. Even for a Sonic fan. One of the best games for the Wii vs. the worst Sonic game on Wii. Plus we need to support good mature games so they make more. Sega will make Sonic games longer than you or I live.

Sega? Yes. Sonic Team? I hope not...
