I got banned once for saying Callof Duty looked like crap on the Wii. Some guy got butthurt and reported me.

 

It's all in the context and the intent.

That particular one sounds a bit harsh, but I would have to see the thread to judge properly. It also depends on how many times you have been banned/warned previously though... but the harshness of the punishment differs depending on the mod it seems.
