Forums - Gaming - What Was Announced at GDC In The Past?

Well it is that time of the year again when we have the Games Developers Conference.

So let's try and build a bit of exitement by remembering what games have been announced on this stage in the past!

Last year Gears 2 and Fable 2 were announced by Microsoft if i remember right?

Around the Network

i just remember Gears 2 last year. Usually theres not a ton of games announced because its a conference highlighting engines and new technology for developers. Its not much of a normal persons event

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Twilight Princess were both announced there, along with Gears 2.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

Fable 2 was announced long before 2008, Zelda Twilight Princess was announced at E3 2004 (I think).

The other titles mentioned do seem to have been announced at GDC.

Around the Network

Twilight Princess was announced at E3, not GDC.

SE anounced that Crystal Tools was multiplat last GDC...maybe we'll see something running on it now.

I remember Nintendo's DLC Model (Pay to Play) was announced at the last GDC

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Whoops--you guys are right about Twilight Princess, but I'm positive two recent Zelda games were announced at a GDC...
