Hmm.

And I'd gone and rewarded myself with a muffin in recognition of my contribution to the community.

I guess I've got an appointment with the toilet now.

sorry guy....I keep in contact with DK alot as we play and he's been keeping tabs on the GameFAQs forums. Bugger is actually ahead of me in the game now.

...

Well at least it's good to know I won't have to play Indiana Jones with giant fruit soon. Damned peaches always kill me...

I cannot wait to get this game. It's a measly $50 that is worth it considering it has over 100 hours of content worth exploring! The thing is I read IGN review and they stated their are times where you would have to use a strategy guide because there are times where you have to search for a specific item it would be in an anonymous place and easy to find.

Too true. Check out this page, where Hyperion kept looking for a crafting table that was right in front of him the whole time. Can't laugh at him, though, because the exact same thing happened to me.

I'm stuck between this game or its DS counterpart. I want to play a harvest moon game on a handheld but I also like this one since it has more features. >.>

Should I get the DS game first to get introduced to the new system or should I get this?

I am a Breakout Bat.
I am an abstract sort of creature, who dislikes any sort of restraint. If you try to pigeonhole me, I'll break the box, and come back for more. I don't have any particular ambitions, I just drift, but I am adept at keeping life going along.

I like this one better than the original (it's far more polished), but I haven't played Rune Factory 2, so I can't fairly compare your options.

hmmm...if it's more polished then I would probably choose this one...
Well I have until Friday to buy one so I have a lot of time to think this one out ^^

This game is so awesome... can't wait for work to be over to arrange my runeys!

70 hours and counting now, about to enter Year 2. Almost done with the story from what I hear.

Did you know that almost all of what I call the tier 5/platinum crafted items require one of those flowers that take multiple seasons to grow? Better get started on that. If you can figure out the Runey system you can cut a couple weeks off the grow time for those, too. I've got 6 of the 9 areas prospering now, despite the winter blues.

PS: If you're having trouble getting wood, just wait until winter and you'll get more than you'll ever need in one blizzard! I had like 50 stumps dumped onto my field, took another two weeks between me and my minion to clear it.

PPS: The mushroom character will give you random herbs if you harvest it. Likewise the mimic/fake treasure chest will give you random ores. Also, the chickens no longer have an egg monopoly, you can also get them from the ducks.
