I read in Gamefaqs that if you have 8 places in prosperity, you will get the crops to grow really fast...but it doesn't work if you do all areas, apparently.

Good grief, this game has so many good qualities... I honestly can't come up with one bad thing about it. V_V Didn't know I liked this type of game so much.

It's like they start me off on an even playing field and hit me with all of these potential advantages but makes me have to work for them. V_V.

Being a greedy mofo, I guess I'll have to start breeding and spreading more runeys. It appears that you can have 60 of one type at most in an area. Has anyone had any other experience?

I havent gotten into runeys yet. Soon though.

I'm at the end of fall, halfway through the 2nd (3rd?) dungeon, depending on your point of view. Review is mostly written, just trying to get through the rest of the main storyline to make sure I haven't missed anything. I'm about 40 hours in so far.

Your barely skimming the surface of the game, I'm on my 2nd play through. ^_^

The game lies and tells me I only spent 80 hours on my first file, my Wii sais I spent over 100. I don't remember falling asleep while playing V_V. Granted I'm no where near done with the game >_>

What I'm trying to figure out is if there is an easy way to get to later levels on the whale island without running through every single one or waiting until a holiday and skipping to the third. I'm currently trying to work my way through the 7th level and it's annoying as hell having to walk through every previous level every time I want to get there.

I've been having the same issue: the lack of a warp spot is kind of annoying in such a large dungeon. Riding your wolf pet cuts the travel time down to a minute or so, but that's still a minute I'd rather spend exploring...

awww....but I already take my pet cow with me, he's so strong he practically does all the killing for me. Wish I could just ride him, maybe I'll get a unicorn and live out every middle school girl's fantasy.

Actually, what cow do you use? I assume they're the ones from the Lava Ruins? Or...?

I've kind of been skimping on the pets (aside from using them as livestock), but the difficulty's ramping up enough that I think I have to look into getting one for the dungeons too.

Speaking of, all my pets are stuck at two smiley faces: is that the actual limit, or am I doing something wrong?
