      I don't think it will be Versus XIII because that would push the game back to 2012 in the West.  And what would be the point of Square putting more exclusive games on the 360 when the PS3 is starting to take over in Japan while 360 games including jrpgs are starting to show that they don't sell in Japan?   See SO4 not rising above 183,000 and not even being in the Japanese Top 20 in its third week.  Also SO4 didn't really show that the 360's core audience of shooter fans in the West are that interested in JRPGs.  It really makes no sense to make exclusives for a console in one region while another console has in the same region has 4 to 5 times as many units sold in that region which will be the case between the 360 and PS3 after FFXIII and GT5 are released exclusively for the PS3 in Japan. 

     Also, if MGS4 was to be released on the 360 at this late date, then it probably wouldn't sell all that well on the console and it would be so much removed from the original with all of the pro Apple and Sony comments and anti-MS comments removed from the game that it would be widely regarded as a very inferior version of the game's text.

We could fill an ocean with 360 fanbois tears since PS3 is getting Bioshock 2 and likely Mass Effect 2. Mass Effect 2 is the Megaton. Personally I wish 360 fanbois good luck with MGS4 disks.

Prove it. Find me one piece of objective/factual evidence that shows Metal Gear Solid 4 is the greatest game of all time.

As far as I know MGS4 hasn't even won the most GOTY awards last year.
Fallout 3 and Little Big Planet did

Hate to burst your bubble, but any Xbox fanboy knows that there's been litterally nothing to complain about this generation.

We started the generation with only having a few quality FPS games, and now have almost every quality PS2 franchise that we never got:

  • Devil May Cry series
  • Resident Evil series
  • Dynasty Warriors series
  • Star Ocean series
  • Tales of series
  • Final Fantasy series
  • Virtua Fighter series
  • Ridge Racer series
  • and so on

We also got tons of multi-plat games that traditionally would not have been on the Xbox last gen, so that was a big plus.

On the other hand, Sony fanboys have been failed at almost every turn, starting with the $600 price. The only exclusives that Sony fans can really grasp on to are MGS and a Final Fantasy spin-off. There've been far more tears shed over PS2 games going to X360 or multi-plat, than Xbox exclusives going multi-plat or PS3 exclusive (which there really hasn't been many X360/Xbox games to go PS3 exclusive).

Great,I`m glad...when E3 2009 comes and MS shows MGS4 from Konamy to the 360,I`ll know it`s a AAA game and enjoy it...same goes for FF13 VS from Square...I will buy and enjoy them both. Or do you think that money is not a big thing? The publishers are publishing games to make a profit AND ensure a game has a sequal,so it can make...more money.

So why shouldn`t they receive my money? Just because I own a 360? There are many of us who own a 360 and not a ps3...giving up on those money will be business wrong in these economical times. Why do you think publishers are going multiplatform? You got it...money.

As long as I get either Splinter Cell or Mass Effect 2 this year, then MS wins the year as far as I'm concerned.
