Forums - Sony - Rumor: VF5 Patch For PS3 Online

I actually need someone who is dutch to translate this for me, as it is from a dutch website.

Any takers?

Sold my VF5, got tekken.

If you want online get tekken.

tekken 5: DROnline is absolute garbage.

The lag is pretty bad too but they couldn't even make a half decent match making interface.

crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.

I would buy the game if it had well executed online (right now I have no interest in buying it because of the lack of online)

@ihira

Really? Mine works fine.

We don't have any Dutch that can translate this?

Alta Vista very rough translation:

"Possibly online multiplayer for Ps3-versie Virtua Fighter 5 et it the notice of online of Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360 a heap eigenaren of Ps3-versie of the game will be discriminated against himself has felt. An interview of Total Videogames with of the makers of the game does the hope blaze up probable nevertheless. Tohru Murayama, assistant, have, as it happens, confirmed manager of Sega AM2 that online play can be brought by means of patch to Ps3-versie of Virtua Fighter 5. TVG: It "is something that AM2 can solve by means of patch?" Murayama: "undoubtedly". Absent lack of time and budget are of the online vogue in Ps3-versie were especially caused. It was best for the arcade version as soon as possible at porten to PS3. Developing an online mode fell through in the process."

Edit:  Doesn't seem likely because of the PS3 user-base.  I'd be surprised if the game sold much better on the 360, though.  We'll see.

by "works fine" do you mean laggy matches and next to nothing match making system?

the lag may not be helped by Namco's fault but they really disregarded a proper matchmaking/search function.

HOnestly its next to impossible to find players with good connection or even friends on your PSN list.

This looks like something in beta test.  Only we pay extra $ for it.

Can you validate that signature with some concrete examples?

$9.99? Not a big deal. Probably I will pick it up.
