I think Twisted Metal deserves to be on the list, it's a great franchise I own TM4 and that was one of my favourite PS1 games (I actually played it on the PS3 a few weeks ago, and if you go to the music section on the XMB it'll actually give you the whole soundtrack in the game, really cool). I also got TM: Black and I liked it (not as much as TM4) a lot I even replayed the game and beat it with every character, it's a really fun game.

Thank god uncharted isn't on this list.

It still baffles me that people gush about this game.

Great list, although I'm not sure it's ok to lump 3 different franchises in one... so I'll say that this is a top 7. I never thought that the twisted metal franchise was amazing or anything, but I've never played the games so meh, what do I know?

this list make me angry at sony , not sticking to ur amazing IPs and jumping to new ones every 2 or 3 years doesn't help

Wait... What?

You can't look at that list and think that. Twisted Metal is most likely getting a new game in 2010. Team Ico we know is making another game in the Ico universe. Ratchet has gotten two new games this game, and is getting a third one this year. Sony can't make Sucker Punch make another Sly Cooper game, they could give the IP to another develepor though, but Sony wouldn't do that. Naughty Dog might still make another Jak game. God of War 3 is comming out 2009/early 2010, and GT5 in 2009/2010.

Sony might not stick with all their IPs, but they stick with most of their amazing ones. How can this list make you angry?

@Smeags: Don't forget that the Sly games and Shadow of the Colossus have incomplete data, I think SotC sold over 2 million copies world wide.
