Thank you.
How have they been selling?
Not in comparison to Wii Fit, of course.
Edit :- Can't believe I forgot about Manhunt 2
Can't really believe Resident Evil's M rated either :\

| drpunk said: Sorry, don't follow the Wii much but do follow GTA. What I wanted to ask is if Madworld is the first m-rated game on the Wii? I think the sales of that would matter too. Give a good indication of the mature audience out there on the Wii. |
No. Not by an insanely long shot. It had M-Rated games near its' launch. Rockstar has even made an M-Rated game for it already (Manhunt 2).
On topic. Well, R* even me got excited by those gameplay vids of GTA:CW. And I never enjoyed GTA since GTA2. Hopefully it will do well enough.
Off topic. Who the hell still thinks that M-rated games mean mature audience? Ratings are for your mom to make her choice if this game appropriate for her little kid or not. I'm an adult, buying game by myself, don't care about ratings.
That would be complete idiocy if true. A proper GTA game would take 2-3 years to develop so if they're waiting for GTA:CW results then we won't see a GTA WII (excluding PS2 ports) until 2011/2012 when we might already be entering a new generation? Not happening.
I'd wager good money Take Two has one in development right now and we'll see it late 2009 or 2010.

a handful have broke 1m. Call of Duty: World at War is at 970k. So I would say the non-niche genre M rated games have sold well.

They can make it much faster if it's on rails.

well, based on the sales of this, they could ax the other and cut their loses. However, I do agree with you.

I have yet to see anything in the UK in terms of marketing.....while I've seen dozens of ads for the downloadable GTA IV content.
Hum. Buy this game and we will look at another title... Capcom told us such lies before.
Anyway I'll probably catch GTA DS
Well Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles has sold about 1.3 Million so far, RE4 has sold something like 1.6 Million, House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return has sold about 1 Million, Call of Duty: World at War has sold nearly 1 Million and will cross that soon..
So they've done reasonably well.. Also if these aren't M rated in NA please correct me, I'm going by MA15+ ratings for Australia..
