If Alan Wake plays like Max Payne and Heavy Rain is similar to Fahrenheit - then Alan Wake for me :)
Also having both higher x360 userbase and pc version will greatly help to Alan outselling HR.

well i really enjoyed indigo prophecy (the people who are doing heavy rain) so im looking forward to heavy rain in the sense i know ill have a decent game to enjoy. as of alan wake it looks good and i will be getting it at some point, but whether or not i will enjoy it is yet to be determined.
Sales : AL > HR that is sure.
Review :
Alan Wake is looking like a beautifull (PC version only for the moment ...) game but the trailer was all but really impressive. It looked like a next gen SH remake. Since we know finally NOTHING, I can't judge the game.
Heavy Rain looked beautifull too but we still have no clue about what will be the final product. At the end, I can't judge too.
Draw.
Time to Work !

I agree in this instance that there is nothing wrong here. I was making a genereal reference towards the threads that end up turning to shit because of the whole expectation/hype thing. Most of my comments were light hearted intended to poke fun at such things. Like I said I usually watch from afar, perhaps I chose the wrong place to say these things. I apologize if this is the case.
Release dates of these two games please?
I know Alan wake is on X360 and obviously sell much better due to X360 higher install base.
Heavy Rain on PS3 well I no little about that game and well being on PS3 it will sell less than Alan Wake.
Game with more fun factor I would have no idea I have not played either game.
I have an idea. Lets call them crap until proven otherwise(As in someone has played them.). Anyway, I sense large amount of failing from both products.
Going on what we have Alan Wake, I can't wait for new trailors and info to start pouring in after E3!
Although, I will say that Heavy Rain has a chance to actually release this year.
We haven't anything substantial on Alan Wake in over a year.
I loved Indigo Prophecy and Heavy Rain is supposed to be a similar experience. I don't know jack about Alan Wake (which is still one of my most anticipated games(what the hell? (parenthesis inside a parenthesis? Awesome!) How'd that happen) for the 360. I say Heavy Rain will reign heavily.
