Epic fail for Halo Wars! except that Microsoft is gonna make a crap ton of profits from it. questionable if Killzone 2 will be profitable at all.

It lived up to and exceeded the hype.

You can't fault Halo for not living up to Marios epicness. Mario is king. Not even Sonic could keep up. Mario is also much more mass market friendly. Halo is doing quite well. Halo Wars should at least match Final Fantasy tactics on PS 1. That's epicness if it can.

I still never expect K2 to sell this well

KZ2 is an amazing FPS.

Halo Wars is/will be the #1 RTS on console....probably this entire Gen.

To be honest I'm a little bit surprised but not too much so. If it was the other way around then I definately would not of been surprised. PS3 doesn't sell as many games and Halo is, well Halo.

However lets not call Halo Wars a failure, it's still sold a lot of copies especially for a console RTS and I'm sure it's development cycle and costs are a hell of a lot lower than Killzone's.

Lets see...a console RTS, a genre dead on consoles with the name of Halo, or a First Person Shooter that has been hailed as the second coming of gaming Jesus since 2005, for who sells the most?

Killzone 2 wins.
